Card games stand out for their diversity and stand out as a separate subgenre of board games. The first analogues of card games known to mankind appeared in the Middle Ages and since then people have come up with more and more fun with cards. Within the subgenre, the following games can be distinguished:

  • Point . The essence of the game is simple: you need to exchange the available cards in such a way as to knock out as many points as possible, but not more than 21. The winner takes the bets and the existing bank.
  • Bridge . Bridge is played with a deck of 52 cards consisting of 4 players, where the places at the gaming table are distributed according to the cardinal points. The task of one of the pairs is to score maximum points (take more tricks), while the second pair must hit the jackpot, or beat the bet.
  • Gin Rummy . The task of the players is to make as many selected combinations of cards as possible in the 52 card deck.
  • Fool . The game has gained particular popularity in the CIS. Rules: you need to get rid of your cards by interrupting the opponent's card by seniority. A trump suit can beat any card from a non-trump suit.
  • Goat . The player is given 4 cards, one trump card is removed. The goal is to get rid of low-value cards and collect the most valuable cards in such a way as to score more points.
  • Scarf . Solitaire game for one person: it is necessary to lay out randomly scattered cards in such a way that each pile is of a single suit in seniority (from deuce to ace). Additionally, you can adjust the complexity of the levels (chaotic construction of stacks).
  • Spider . The rules are similar to the scarf, but the game already uses two decks of 54 cards each. Depending on the complexity, you can set up the collection of a stack of either single or different suits.
