Reviews for Bridge by NeuralPlay
I love how this app helped me to get into the enjoyment of bridge again, after many years of not playing it. Some times the bids are terribly off, but most of the time they're comprehensive and correct.
Lovely game. It keeps you absorbed endlessly.
duplicate play is gone
now i dropped the star to 1.Knowing and guessing and determining strategy accordingly are different things. The program definitely knows all the hands. It does not guess. That makes the app sh**t. Every time I play makes me think about uninstalling .now finally i uninstalled it.
much better computer bidding than the other bridge game played
Fun. Helpful hints on request to aid in learning to play. A feature I've been using a lot is the ability to go back and re-play or even re-bid hands. The final score is not reflective of my skill because I cheat by re-playing hands that I mess up. Nevertheless ... After playing this for a while, I have to echo some of the comments made by others about the occasional strange bidding by North. He has a strong tendency to overbid, and will jump to slam on the slightest (or maybe no) provocation.
great 👍🏽
Great app for relatively new bridge players to learn and practice skills. Nice layout and a lot of options for customization.
Still forces ads onto your screen, but recently the ads cover the part of the game you need to see, specifically, you can't see your own cards you're supposed to be playing. Terrible idea: the "free" version is now basically unplayable
exceptional bid and play
I love your games! The bridge game is very fun and addictive. I especially love the big variety of possible settings that really change the game experience and allow me to make it light and easy or challenging. You did a terrific thing allowing us to see hints ... the hints for bidding and playing really help us to understand the game better. It's so fun! Congratulations! 💗 Margaret 🌼
I can't yet compare to other apps but this is very easy to play and the computer plays logically for the most part. If it is an AI, it will get better. The ads are tolerable at this point... **** 'Partner' doesn't seem to understand when we have a part score to quit bidding. Will for example go on to bid 4S when a 2 would do the trick ***
This is a pretty awesome app. It gives you a synopsis of the meaning of each bid, along with hints. The play is strong enough to be entertaining, but has some gaps that let you beat the computer sometimes. The bidding system it uses is a bit unfamiliar (but maybe that's just because I haven't been playing in a while). Great way to brush up on your bridge skills.
This is a relatively sophisticated bridge game with multiple bidding strategies and good play choices. It is not great for beginners because beginners bidding mode is not the default and the play is too fast to pay full attention to the run of play. However I have gotten used to the speed and the small cards and now enjoy it very much.
Good as far as it goes- as a beginning player it is helpful, especially in learning to bid. However, in the card play, it gives no explanation as to why it recommends the cards to play. One is left to guess the strategy, with no guidance whatsoever. Also has no instruction as to what the scoring terms are and what they mean, or how to bid based on the scores.
