Installation
When unpacking the archive with the file, you will be prompted to enter a password
- Download the XAPK installation application, e.g, APKPure or File Manager .
- Open the downloaded XAPK installation application and locate the downloaded XAPK file.
- Follow the instructions in the application to install the XAPK file.
- Allow installation from unknown sources: Go to 'Settings' > 'Security' (or 'Biosecurity & Safety') > enable 'Unknown sources' or 'Install from unknown sources' for your browser or file manager. On newer smartphone models, permission is requested when the individual file is installed and no unnecessary steps need to be performed..
- Install the APK file by following the on-screen instructions.
- Restore security settings by disabling permission to install from unknown sources.

Great SMS/Genesis/Sega CD emulator. Works with every game I have tried. Great features and very good customization. Interface can be hard to navigate but not a big issue. The lack of 32x (and CD 32x) support is the biggest gripe.
Works absolutely perfect on my Chromebook. No problems whatsoever. Thanks to the dev team. My hats off to you.

If you can't use RetroArch or you have a low-end device this it's a great emulator for you.
update: lightgun support great now. it does not want to open crime patrol though. Light Gun support? How do I use it? This is the only reason why I got this emulator. No response from developer as of 9/18/2022 Still no response 7/19/2024
Something happened with the latest versions. It doesn't save settings, game paths, and most importantly, game saves. Your best bet now is to search for an older version of apk online and install it that way with disabling auto updates at the Play Store. Otherwise unusable.
Very good emulator, but one small complaint: there are no options to resize or move the on-screen inputs, and the buttons are a little tight.
Doesn't work anymore now Android has stupidly implented scoped storage, please fix as it is an otherwise fantastic emulator.
Sega CD games mostly don't work
