Despite paying for the app, I can no longer play Warhammer 40k due to the unreleased Tyranid codex locking all my rules. I cancelled a game today as a result. This is despite preordering the Tyranid Codex.

It takes a while before GW updates the app when new points or rules come out with the Balance Dataslate. It also has a few ongoing issues (e.g. telling you that you can't have more than one aircraft in a Strike Force). Perhaps the worst thing is that some of the rules are hidden behind a paywall that requires a physical copy of the codex to be bought (even when you have a Warhammer+ sub). However, the user interface is smoother than alternative army list apps which is why I've given it 3 stars.

Already wasn't the greatest app, and now this is discontinued in favor of a new app. What about my purchases in this app? Shame GW is once again taking the "more money" route

The app won't accept my password nor let me change it. I'm stuck on reset my password and then it takes me back to the link account tab and it's not letting me go back or forward just around and around. So I can't even access the app which doesn't bode well for it's functionality when using it.

Honestly I'm seeing all these other comments talking about bugs and the app not working, I'm probably going to guess they have outdated phones or something like that, This app has never had problems on my end. I've always been able to use it and make my armies perfectly fine, I've been using them on the Google Pixel series.

Grim, but I wanted it to be so much more, like useful. It has been a month since the Death Guard released and their part of the app is useless. I sent 2 messages about this during feedback and 1 after but was ignored. Nearly 8 months later and still no resolution for Death Guard troops issue. Sad! After 14 months, they fixed DG but it still isn't as useful as some free apps. Here is hoping they learned their lessons and the new app doesn't suck right off the go.
