Reviews for Life360: Live Location Sharing
sells your data to insurance companies which can then raise your rates
helps me keep up with my love one's
definitely works weel and keeps us closer as a family whether near or far.
does work right and I pay fix this
Life360 sells you and your family's driving data to car insurers who use it to set your car insurance rate. Loved the app but can't stand the scummy use of my data.
simple I love it 😀 😍
phenominal functionality. I love the SOS feature...even the free version is absolutely AMAZING for safety and basic tracking purposes.
this app is ruining my life, can't have any freedom because my parents are always watching and now i can't drive because of it
They collect your data and sell it to insurance brokers. everyone should delete asap
My life 360 isn't working fast please check it out call 2 times last night and both reps hung up on me kinda hurt my feelings
ETA: I downgraded my rating by one star because the speech bubbles are incredibly frustrating due to placement. After months of app use since they first appeared, no one in my circles has gotten used to them and we're constantly annoying each other with, for one example, unnecessary requests for "ETA?". Good functionality on Android. New layout much easier to use.
Life360 does its job very well, much better than any of its competitors. I enjoy the app, for all that it does for me and my family. However there are some things that I dislike; such as the demanding nature of the app. When you open life360 you are met with demanding and persistent messages: TURN OFF BATTERY SAVER!! TELL (person) TO TURN OFF BATTERY SAVER!!, TURN ON WIFI!!, TELL (person) TO TURN ON THEIR WIFI!! These constant, demanding, and controlling messages damage the quality if the app.
We recently got new phones and the app was added fine to my phone. But it keeps telling me that my son's phone has no network or is turned off. I logged off and uninstalled it from his old phone then logged in again on his new one, but it still says no network. I'd rather not have to use a different app since I have everything saved and other apps don't necessarily have some of the same features. Any help would be great.
Not super accurate, Google maps does a better job, plus, you can't "protect a drive" unless you pay? Why? It's life saving, yet you have to pay or just see that they stopped driving, but you get a notification like 5 minutes later, which by then they could've bled out if they crash. I'm about to uninstall and use Google maps instead, at least they have all the features plus more on there. Ads are minimal. The app itself works, but like I said on top.
Other than you get less than perfect Quality if you don't upgrade anything, that is to be expected. You do get what you pay for. Considering it doesn't charge, it is definitely something for even the poorest of parents that want to keep track of their kids. It does exactly what it says, n darn near perfectly. You get more than you pay for with this since it could actually even save a life(life saving application) I hope it never changes because it knows it could. Highly recommend 👌🏽
