Application Tuya Smart was checked by VirusTotal antivirus. As a result of the scan, no file infections were detected by all the latest signatures.
How to install Tuya Smart
- Download APK file apps from apkshki.com.
- Locate the downloaded file. You can find it in the system tray or in the 'Download' folder using any file manager.
- If the file downloaded in .bin extension (WebView bug on Android 11), rename it to .apk using any file manager or try downloading the file with another browser like Chrome.
- Start the installation. Click on the downloaded file to start the installation
- Allow installation from unknown sources. If you are installing for the first time Tuya Smart not from Google Play, go to your device's security settings and allow installation from unknown sources.
- Bypass Google Play protection. If Google Play protection blocks installation of the file, tap 'More Info' → 'Install anyway' → 'OK' to continue..
- Complete the installation: Follow the installer's instructions to complete the installation process.
How to update Tuya Smart
- Download the new version apps from apkshki.com.
- Locate the downloaded file and click on it to start the installation.
- Install over the old version. There is no need to uninstall the previous version.
- Avoid signature conflicts. If the previous version was not downloaded from apkshki.com, the message 'Application not installed' may appear. In this case uninstall the old version and install the new one.
- Restart annex Tuya Smart after the update.

The ball valve actuators and switch remote have worked a treat for our irrigation system. Thank you 😊
If power goes out, I have to dance with the switches every time; it will turn on all the connected devices and won't see them any more. A pain in the butt to connect, and not possible to set power off as default state. Changing all the lamps just to not have to deal with this. And yes, lots of features... worth nothing if the most basic stuff - finding the device and controlling it - does not work properly. UI is too complex, too.

I think it's really cool to have, I enjoy seeing the planter change faces and tell me how it's doing with it's water and sun light; but since the last update for the planter, it loses my plant every 5 minutes......

the stuff works and is easy to configure
It used to work great and then they updated it and now the best features are gone and it takes a very long time for the app to open just to adjust my lights. My lights are a giant waste of money now. 😔
