Reviews for Private & Secure VPN: TorGuard
I have used Torguard on my PCs, Android devices, and iOS/iPadOs devices for at least 2 years, and have never had any significant issues. Ping times are good, especially for FULL-on complete VPN, and speeds from nearby servers are almost always at least 25 Mbps & often significantly higher... 50-75+ Mbps is not uncommon. Customer service has always been very good as well. I am very happy with Torguard and have no intention of leaving unless things change. Keep up the great job Team TG!
I've recently switched to Torguard from my previous VPN provider, and so far I've been impressed. Methods I use for access: Torguard apps on both Android and Win10, an OpenVPN config on a FreeNAS jail, as well as Wireguard on Android. I've had no issues with any method so far, and their web interface to manage your connections and port forwarding is quick and easy to use. The only downside in comparison to my previous provider is the slightly higher cost. But so far worth it.
It's been a while since last update... Looks like the iOS gets updated more frequently. Works well on windows version 4.8.11. Speed are also much faster on windows than android 12L using the same settings. Edit: Version 1.60.5.P fixed the speed issue on my android. Its super fast now. Great job thanks to Dev.
The best VPN ever made because I use it on my computer I have a dedicated IP address that they sell as a service on top of their 1,000 servers which word can be locked down on one specific IP you have to mention you can go anywhere in the world and have the same IP address location 0 tracking 0 ability for anybody to see what the f you're doing if any security I legitimately think this application would not only be perfect but even more so it would accommodate perfectly
For nearly 7 years ive used torguard and my machines work great, I get price reduction for loyalty and love that. I use on Windows and Linux and all works well. Understanding how VPN's work means I protect my identity, torguard provides the secure socket which helps with that.
The app mostly works as intended. Sometimes it will get stuck on reconnecting. The vpn will not be on but it will still display this. Not too often I miss notifications when this state is on as I'm not fully connected to the internet. Customer service is great. App gui can be improved which torguard says its working on.
Port forwarding randomly started working so that's good. And they switched out my streaming IP that did not work. Support always very fast to respond.
works about 10% of the time. the other 90% it either wont connect, connects but doesnt allow any traffic or connects and is too slow to actually do anything. most of the us west coast servers don't seem to work.
Used to work good some time ago. VPN is extremely sluggish now and randomly hangs with the workaround to manually adjust settings or swap back and forth between servers. This seems like a deliberate ploy to get you to purchase new services they have been promoting recently. Might be time to find an alternative.
I cannot use this application for the life of me. It does not let me log in. I am just stuck at the login screen. It has just got the spinning icon and it does not get past that.
