How to install Google Voice
- Download APK file apps from apkshki.com.
- Locate the downloaded file. You can find it in the system tray or in the 'Download' folder using any file manager.
- If the file downloaded in .bin extension (WebView bug on Android 11), rename it to .apk using any file manager or try downloading the file with another browser like Chrome.
- Start the installation. Click on the downloaded file to start the installation
- Allow installation from unknown sources. If you are installing for the first time Google Voice not from Google Play, go to your device's security settings and allow installation from unknown sources.
- Bypass Google Play protection. If Google Play protection blocks installation of the file, tap 'More Info' → 'Install anyway' → 'OK' to continue..
- Complete the installation: Follow the installer's instructions to complete the installation process.
How to update Google Voice
- Download the new version apps from apkshki.com.
- Locate the downloaded file and click on it to start the installation.
- Install over the old version. There is no need to uninstall the previous version.
- Avoid signature conflicts. If the previous version was not downloaded from apkshki.com, the message 'Application not installed' may appear. In this case uninstall the old version and install the new one.
- Restart annex Google Voice after the update.

like
the app is useless since the text messaging has become throttled. "can't be delivered" again and again simply because you're not talking to the person every minute of the day. also the Google number gets flagged as spam now by phone service providers, so it's utterly useless for the singular purpose it has. Google pushing all other messenger apps out only to be an inferior choice is just the standard practice of them now. the 5 star reviews are bots or bought. the community help is useless.
Great app to use as a public defender so I don't have to give out my personal number to clients, etc. And use of the texting from computer with full keyboard is great. One of three most important tools I use.
The fact that the app won't let you just copy a phone number to add to contacts, nor can you just add to contacts from a message or phone number pop up is absolutely ridiculous in 2025.

Google Voice is great when it works but my phone never rings when I get an incoming call
It works well
People say it is hard to hear me. But I don't want to have a physical phone.
It works but to be honest it's better using line, what's app or any other messaging system. I've been using it for years and there are times it forgets that I have numbers saved contacts, does not give names of contacts calling, lastly no videos. Got a reply have done that... several times
