Installation
When unpacking the archive with the file, you will be prompted to enter a password
- Download the XAPK installation application, e.g, APKPure or File Manager .
- Open the downloaded XAPK installation application and locate the downloaded XAPK file.
- Follow the instructions in the application to install the XAPK file.
- Allow installation from unknown sources: Go to 'Settings' > 'Security' (or 'Biosecurity & Safety') > enable 'Unknown sources' or 'Install from unknown sources' for your browser or file manager. On newer smartphone models, permission is requested when the individual file is installed and no unnecessary steps need to be performed..
- Install the APK file by following the on-screen instructions.
- Restore security settings by disabling permission to install from unknown sources.

Great app to use as a public defender so I don't have to give out my personal number to clients, etc. And use of the texting from computer with full keyboard is great. One of three most important tools I use.

It works well
People say it is hard to hear me. But I don't want to have a physical phone.
It is great to have a phone number to give out to certain circles, that keeps your privacy and does not even divulge your name or exact location. The sound quality of the calls is the same as with my regular carrier. Texting is also a breeze.

Google Voice is great when it works but my phone never rings when I get an incoming call
Visual voicemail just stopped working a couple years back and could never get it going again. Bummer
