How does TTL work?

When a packet of information is created and sent over the Internet, there is a risk that it will continue to flow from router to router indefinitely. To mitigate this possibility, packages are designed with an expiration date called a lifetime or hop limit. The TTL packet can also be useful for determining how long a packet has been in circulation and allows the sender to get information about the packet's path over the Internet.

Your domain's TTL values ​​determine how often your DNS records are updated. Lower values ​​mean your DNS updates faster - meaning that if you make changes to the location of your website or email, they take effect faster.

You can change the TTL values ​​of your domain name, but (unfortunately) there is no value that allows your DNS changes to take effect immediately. Most of these changes take 2 hours to take effect, but can take up to 48 hours.
