The Google phone app is amazing! Being able to have Google stay on hold for me and alert me when the other party has answered the phone is priceless. Also, the fact that it transcribes what is said and breaks up menu options into an ordered list with numbers makes it super easy to go through phone trees and make sure you choose the right option. I love this program... it just keeps getting better and better.

Using this default phone app to obtain my voicemail works out well, and I'll stick with this; it is the phone's default way to receive messages. The Metro-PC visual voicemail app suddenly stopped working. I had to delete that voice mail app and now use the default phone app to dial voice mail. I do not need the visual voicemail app, which was fine until it prevented retrieving messages.

This app already was on my phone so I set it up. Nokia g300 btw. I was very excited to have the call screen on my phone, problem is it doesn't work properly. I don't have the ability to use some settings in fact some settings that should be there are not, the automatically record transcripts setting isn't there. When someone calls they do get the Google call screen but when they talk I don't see any transcripts of what they are saying at all. I can send stuff back and u hear it but no return.

I like the extra features that are part of the Google version of Phone. Unfortunately, 50% of the time phones calls are either muffled or distorted/robotic. Making it unreliable. So many times I have to end the call and try again, or restart the phone entirely. This doesn't happen with the built-in default Phone app at all. I want to use it for the extras, but I can't. This needs improvement. Motorola Edge 5G UW (2021), Android 11.

I've had nothing but problems with this service. My phone doesn't ring when I get calls even though I'm not blocking or ignoring the calls in the settings. text are fine but the phone service sucks. Now problems with voice mail, the screen won't light up when I go there, so it's useless. Had to take out reinsert sim, now it's better. Back with more phone issues the screen refuses to light up which makes this useless,
