Reviews for Lumosity: Brain Training
no adds more focused on users mental health than making money really appreciate the people behind this app
Have been using this app.for a very long time both as a paid and (currently) free member. Really like the new upgrade and UI
Really fun and clever!
After the new update it feels sluggish and glitch while playing. improvement has to be done.
I like playing lumosity. I used to play it in the past but then I worked for a while and didn't have time to play lumosity. Now that I have some time I look forward to playing it. Lumosity also helped me in my work as I could focus on my work (payroll) with colleagues talking on the phone/mobile. I recommend lumosity to people of all ages especially those over 45 years. Now I'm 62 years old and still like playing lumosity as it challenges my brain and it gives me confidence.
fun and challenging
train game is superb plz mor levals add this game
It used to be good, now I'm just disgusted and disappointed. It limits and forces you to pay instead of the '14 day free trial' as it promises, if you are not 'eligible' for the 14 day trial, yet nowhere is it clear WHY you are not 'eligible' and doesn't tell you anything else or any other information. And be careful, these automatic payments apply to both the yearly option and the monthly one, doesn't matter which, you'll get charged automatically instead of thier '14 day free trial'
awsome
WOW
Really good in fascinating brain exercises, most of which are very engaging or challenging and/or stress both parts of your brain. Some require more concentration or timing or abstract thinking than others. Have to pay more to get the full experience but what they offer you is actually pretty good. My only criticism is that some of the exercises are not really that intuitive or as explained as it should be.
I love a couple of the games, and unfortunately the game algorithm knows which ones they are because it continually cycles through the ones I don't want to play and rarely puts up the ones I do. I love the coffee making game and would download just for that one, but since the algorithm intentionally only gives that as a free option less than a couple times a month, I'm not gonna waste the space on my phone.
The free premium trial was good. The games are fun. One HUGE problem, though. It costs 13 DOLLARS A MONTH(after free trial). After the trial, you only get 3 games, randomly chosen every day, not even a full "workout" apparently. The games are good, but not even CLOSE to being worth that much a month. I also heard they were sued for misinformation, so that's also pretty shady. Honestly, if occasional, non-intrusive ads could help mitigate this, I'm all for it(prob not). Overall, don't download.
I really enjoyed the challenge your app provided over the last few years. But unfortunately I can no longer brain-train w/Lumosity. After a recent upgrade of my Samsung device, I am now required to sign, or log in, in order to access my free account. I wish to remain anonymous, as the challenge for me, was to improve my skills, compared to MY previous high score, or top level achieved. It was a GREAT WAY TO START THE DAY, & I will miss playing the assorted games, and the insights they provided!
logic games & mindfulness. on the free version you get only 3 a day, varies day o day and you can't go back, therfore it takes a pretty long time to get to all the games to view if it'd be worth it to pay. most of the games are really fun, all are challenging in their own right, some much more addicting than others. after a week I'm on the fence about actually buying the product for the games, but what really shines is the mindfulness. well spoken. creative expression went into this app!!
