This app is well made with a glaring issue. The subscription is WAY too expensive. It's basically the same cost of my local gym. I understand the developers want to get paid for their hard work and I fully support payment, even a monthly payment if there are constant updates with new workouts, but the $10 per month is crazy. My gym offers so much more for $10, this app should cost no more than $3 per month, period. Too bad too, I would pay for a better pricing schedule, but will not fork out what they are asking.

First impressions. Pros: - Will give you training routines. - Seems to adapt to your limits. - Demonstration videos are well made. Cons: - I said I only have a wall as equipment, first exercise required a metal bar weight X pounds. Huh? - I have a lower back injury so I cannot do certain exercises, app doesn't seem to allow this sort of input/feedback to the "Coach". - Way too many ads pushing different things. Needs a simpler business model. Summary: Good app, but room for improvement.

Good app with one fatally annoying feature: not allowing the user to skip (or shorten) the rests between sets. I find them to often be unusually long. What winds up happening is I will go through the workout without actually clicking through it on the app, and then click through it later to "complete" it. It just doubles the amount of time spent on the app, which is super inconvenient. If this option isn't offered, I won't be renewing.

For those that complain about it not being free, it is free if you dont want a coach. Also, quality is never free. A fact all people need to learn. I have not yet subscribed but I do intend to. It's very organized and easy to understand for beginners. There are also videos for every workout so you can make sure you're doing the exercise properly. Bad form is wasted exercise. Great app.

This has been really great! I've been at it for 7 weeks now and the exercises are challenging and i can already see and feel a difference. I do wish that there was a vocal command available to switch to the next exercise while do a workout routine. The touch/swipe to move to the next exercise can be touchy and sometime requires you to touch/swipe multiple times before it goes to the next exercise. Especially if you're sweating and sweat gets on the screen.

I stuck with this for over a year, so there's a lot to praise. The app is simple, slick, and the coach feature takes all the planning burden off you, which actually saves a lot of time. I'm cancelling my subscription, though, because I don't like its progressions. I, for example, really struggle with pull ups, and the app flips between asking for strict pull ups (which I cannot do at all) and 10s dead hangs (which are too easy). I'm switching to an app with more intermediate exercises.

the spp does whar it promises. it does rely heavily on the CrossFit program including a ton of burpees. the intensity adjustments based on your input from each session seem to swing too far each way though. they did recently fine tune it so hopefully that helps. Is it worth the $? that is really up to the end user. you could easily put a similar program together for free with a little research online. but if you want a program that does it for you, it is not a bad investment.

Far too restrictive with few options for workout feedback; i.e. the only way to say an exercise was difficult is to give the entire session a poor grade. There's also no way to skip exercises. For example, I can't do 90 sit-ups and mountain climbers due to physical restrictions (which I noted in the app) so when I skipped those exercises it assumed I completed them and gave me a personal best record for time.

It's great if you don't want to use your brain, plus offers variety. But the coach is really an automated system. Doesn't do it as per your body type or anything. Keeps going on generecially. It says give honest feedback but I've never seen any updates on the requests I make. It's just to manage the difficulty level. But. It's easy for me. So wth.

This app is really the best such app I've seen. I've looked at so many of them and none have made me want to buy the full version. Yesterday I bit the bullet for this one. The recipes in the nutrition side are very good and give a good "easy to advance" range. The workouts are flexible and allow you to easily adjust based on daily needs. Can't get to the gym for some reason? No worries just tell it that and it will modify to a bodyweight only only without so there's really no reason to miss!
