Cant even start the game. Start at retrieving update list. Restarted 6-7 times and problem remains

Won't even load up
It won't load.
It keeps saying it's failed to update or download whatever I really would like to play the game it looks fun
I've downloaded it on my phone and it can't even update itself. Tried it on another phone and it works until you get in and the constant lag bombards you. The game also crashes here and there, totally unplayable, too bad that it looks promising.
Why I can't download essential assets?
