Reviews for Tapatalk - 200,000+ Forums
Yeah. Oi
Good and secure 🔐
Nice app
Love u guys
Used to be fine, but the ads are too intrusive and the whole app seeks buggy now. Fails to load threads, freezes when scrolling, etc.
The only thing this app offers over reading on the Web is ads and premium subs? Why would anyone want this horrible thing at all?
Used to follow a few forums on here and over time the app became less and less supportive. Some just disappeared altogether. Others don't work real well or display content. Finally left with just 1 forum so deleted the app. Neat experiment, but a failure.
There are five forums for my vehicle, three are active to very active. Tapatalk works with none of them.
Unusable rubbish with constant pop-ups
This is a lenient evaluation. Using this since 2012, it's getting worse and worse with ads pop ups and crashes. Wish to find an alternative soon
It use to work well, until a week and a half ago, than no updating the forums I follow. Several emails later, and a response that it takes a while to reset, well it kinda did. I get notified of updated threads that are at least 12+ hours old, even though they had been acknowledged prior. Some have newer times, most don't. Frustrating for a paid version. Update: it worked for 3 days, now it has been since 6/1 that it would update at all, and email response is, "I sent your problem to the team".
Unusable spammy app. The only thing I see is push to upgrade, and ads everywhere. So hard to find content. Search doesn't really work, I was trying to find an old thread that I know is there, but couldn't be surfaced. Too bad because I would love to see a discussion group app outside of Facebook.
I love this app. However, the pop up video ads are a non starter. They are loud and obnoxious and only seem to be at night when others are sleeping. Will delete if not stopped. Seems like I'm not the only one annoyed by them. Edit: They are louder now and I can't even see them, and can't turn them off. Just annoying noise and irrelevant advertising. 1:30 am while reading in bed. Not cool.
This app autoplays ads. Even if the application is not in focus, the ad is still audible. Sometimes the ad's noise will not immediately play until the page is done loading, even if you've switched applications. This causes ads to play in the background without you realizing until after the audio playback begins. It's very annoying and disruptive.
Over the last month, they have taken away every single benefit. Now, you are limited to ten photos a month, instead of the 9 photos per post you used to get. They force you to upload a single photo at a time, and then limit you. Will be uninstalling as soon as I find an alternative. Your "pro" would definitely be purchased by me if it was a ONE TIME fee. Not worth monthly charges.
