Space Station Research Xplorer is a program that allows you to better understand the experiments being carried out on the International Space Station.

Features of the program

Explore the diverse experimental ecosystem under study on the International Space Station, including completed and ongoing experiments. Explore the results and benefits of many experiments and understand why research in microgravity is so important. Space Station Researchers provide the latest information on experiments, objects and research results on the ISS through videos, photos, interactive content and detailed descriptions.

Experiments Section

This section provides access to the six main categories of experiments and their subcategories. The experiment is described as a point in a system of categories, and the point of connection and the base of the system describe the length of time that the experiment is on its way. Users can browse specific experiments by category and subcategory, or use the search options to find specific experiments or topics. The experiment description includes links, images, and posts (if any). The experimental part can be further narrowed by selecting a specific expedition and sponsor using the scale in the upper right corner of the screen. Experiments can be added to favorites for quick access.

Section "Lab Tour"

This section presents the interior views of the three space station modules, as well as the exterior views of the seven external objects: ELC1-4, Columbus-EPF, JEM-EF, and AMS. Within a pod, you can view different sides of the pod by dragging up and down, and dragging left and right to view any racks that are not visible on the screen. Click on a rack for a short description and, if available, a description of the experiment. For externalIn these devices, the platform is displayed and can be rotated and enlarged. The payload on the outer rack has a label that you can select for more information.
