Советские мелодрамы

Soviet melodramas is an application for Android OS devices containing a large library of films in the genre of “melodramas”. Films can be watched online, read descriptions for them. There are also serials, all in Russian.

Program functions

In the main window of the application, the top panel contains the buttons of the main menu, the name of the application, search for a movie by name, a button for appraising the application, and displaying movie categories. The main menu contains the following sections:

• All movies - the main window with a list of movies.
• Favorites - a custom list of movies and TV shows.
• Other Movies - list of movie categories.
• Random Movie - opens a randomly selected movie or TV show.
• Support the project - financial support for the application.
• Share with friends - the ability to share the program in any way available on your phone.
• Rate the app - you can rate the app directly in the app, from 1 to 5 stars.

The user can find any movie by title, simply by entering it in the search box. For example, if you enter the word "novel", the list of results will contain all films whose titles contain this word (cruel romance, office romance), if you enter this word in the plural, the program will not find such a film, you need to enter the exact word. </ p>

When you click on the "rate the application" button, a window appears with 5 empty forms in the form of stars and the user selects as many stars as he gives. Tellingly, you can change the given rating after 5 stars have been selected by clicking back one star. After giving a grade below 5, a window appears for entering a review, where you can enter a description of the shortcomings and click on the "Submit" button. After that, the "Rate" button disappears from the main menu and from the top panel.

The movie categories button displays other genres: Soviet fairy tales, Soviet filmsFunctions, historical films, Russian melodramas, Russian comedies and other genres. The title of each film category is in a colored box attached to the left or right edge of the window, which also contains an illustration that characterizes the genre.

In the main window, most of the window is occupied by a list of movies, each line contains a large frame from the movie, it contains the name of the movie, which is duplicated below the frame. By clicking on a frame of a movie, the user opens the page of this movie, where there is a full description of it, a button for adding to favorites and a player. In the upper right corner there is also a "Tell Friends" button to send information about the movie in any way possible.

By clicking on the player button, the user opens it in full screen - this is a Youtube video hosting player with a scrollbar, a slider, pause and start buttons, screen minimization and others. The movie can be opened separately in the Youtube app.

Output

An excellent application for fans of Soviet films, which can be downloaded for free. It contains all Soviet films. Favorite movies can be added to the favorites list for review.
