I've paid for Pocket for years. I like many things about it. There are some basic quality problems that they don't seem interested in solving. The "podcast" text-to-speech features are annoying at best. They killed a great friend sharing feature. Article parsing hasn't improved in years, and the "report article view" button clearly goes to the circular file. Its core mechanic is good. Hope they invest in fixing problems instead of adding more flashy new goodies.

Excellent. Really great for reading almost any web page offline and also for keeping track of things I want to read across different browsers. I haven't noticed any ads on the free version. The paid version does give you more fonts and appearance options, but definitely is not required to make this app more enjoyable. I discovered Pocket through Firefox on my desktop and now it's on both my mobile devices. I agree with the suggestion for more reminders of what you saved.

Would have been five stars, except for the annoying persistence of unremovable notifications that are displayed after you start listening to a story. The only way to eliminate those notifications is to force quit the application, which is a real hassle. This means anytime you use the listen feature, you will have to force quit the app at the end of your session. Doesn't seem like that hard to fix but it's been that way for over a year.

I've been using Pocket for many years now. It's one my default apps in any new device. It allows me to storage important news I want to read later; even to keep a Diary of my brain storms, so I can go back to them by syncing on any device. The interface for reading without the annoying advertising it's one of the best features, in such a way that most of the articles I want to read I just add them to Pocket with 2 clicks and I prefer to read them from there. I recommend this app 100%.

It's easier than bookmarking and I can always find an article I wanted to view. I've been using Pocket since 2018 under various emails and it makes reading an article at another time 'perfect'. If I bookmarked the page, I couldn't find it later since I was bookmarking so many articles to read later, it was easy to find and tagging didn't work well thru browser. Using Pocket, I'm able to find what I wanted from various platforms and digital devices - one of the best apps I'm using.

FINALLY! I found somewhere that I can save my links to look at later! In the past, I have saved them on my desktop all over my poor laptop, and in my phone under my Foxfire browser, that ends up with 20 to 30 windows open at all times, using up a lot of my battery, just because I start reading something, then I don't have time to finish or click on another link on that page, so now I can save each page. But this is the best thing since Android LOL Good job on updating since this first came out!

Pocket has become an indispensable tool for my eclectic reading tastes. Seamlessly synced across my devices, I can pick right up with "catching up" on my reading whenever I have a few moments of spare time. Scrolling down through my saved articles, is also a window into where my mind has been in recent months and years. Terrific minimal interface, and no clutter. I love it.

Pocket is one of my most essential tools. I've been using it for years. It not only allows me to save, share and organize articles that I'd like to read later, It makes it easier to read some articles that are otherwise very cumbersome on the web: when I find a post that is so riddled with ads that I can't scroll properly, for instance, I save it to pocket first, and then read it there. It doesn't remove all of the ads, but it seems to organize the page in a better way. Thanks guys!

I do wish the search functions can be there, and I would argue that you lose a golden opportunity of marketing by just returning nothing for a search. You could at least say "search not available in the free version". Otherwise Pocket does a very good job striping useful content from very busy websites. I now almost exclusively read my online context with it. It saves time, data usage, and my vision (no more extra small fonts from websites).
