Reviews Nine - Email & Calendar on Google play

Nice, but missing at least one important feature. There is no way to change the setting that deletes calendar invitations when they are accepted. This behavior is insane and I just can't deal with it. I changed it on the server side, but this app does it regardless.

No help, so uninstalled and went with the newer MS Outlook. Cancel my subscription. I have used Nine for years and over several phone upgrades and always been happy. It seems the last year or two the calendar event notifications are not working. I have asked for help by email and here on this site. Nothing. Time to start checking out Outlook for Androids, then cancel Nine.

4.9.4b just crashed again, just like 4.8.3d, 4.6, & 4.7. I'm not interested in reporting it to tech support again, they get the logs & reply back with silly settings to change but completely ignore the fact that well written code should never crash completely. Bugs & errors are understandable, but simple/common actions like opening or deleting a message should NEVER cause the app to just disappear. Hard to believe in 2022 with all the advanced development tools & frameworks this still happens.

Wow I'm really liking this app so far. I am looking for something with the customization of Aqua Mail, and this comes somewhat close. Plus the price is WAY more reasonable than Aqua. I love that I can make the calendar fonts super tiny. I have a large phone and want to see as much as possible in one view. I'm not a big fan of the avatar circles next to each email message. I wish that could be swapped out for a smaller checkmark box. Regardless, I'm likely buying this before my trial period ends.

It's a good email app, probably the best currently out there. $15 one-time isn't a terrible price either. It seems to be the only email client with a dark theme, too, which is great to have. I only have two problems and they're both relatively small. The first is the RecyclerView used for the email list. It seems to be missing removal animations, so swipe deleting an email is pretty jarring when the list jumps around instead of smoothly moving into the empty space. The second problem is the notifications. I really appreciate the per-email undo function, but every time that times out for an email, the whole notification disappears, and sometimes it just doesn't reappear. This happens when marking emails read through the notifications as well.

This is a great Outlook replacement. I like it so much I purchased it. However, after my phone had to be reset and I reinstalled Nine, it no longer knows I purchased already. My reinstalled 2 week trial is up and it has stopped working completely. Interestingly, the widgets still work, I just can't open any emails or calendar entries. Support has been unresponsive to my help emails sent through the app.

Nine has been my go-to mail app for many, many years. It's ability to do anything the full Outlook app on a PC would do is it's major selling point to me. The only two issues I have is 1) every time you change phones, the app goes into trial mode, requiring you to contact support to fix. No other paid app does that to me, and 2) dark mode doesn't work when drafting an email in the rich text editor, so starting a new message causes the screen to change to a bright white. Very jarring at night. :(

Used it for several years but suddenly, about a month ago, the app. stopped to show mails in the inbox, although it did in other folders. Deleted it and reinstalled on an attempt to bring it back to normal, but now, no emails at all are showing up in any of the many folder I have created. Sent feedback and logs to tech support twice and never heard back. Had to move back to Outlook which is very stable now. Very disappointed with Nine and its support. Stay away from this app. if you can.

This app has been my go to all in one email solution, while on the go. Anything I would normally do in Outlook desktop, I can, and do use the same features here. I recently switched from an activesync to imap setup for my personal account. Setup was a breeze, but I constantly get "internal error" messages when attempting to manually sync. Submitted the log, but a little frustrating, as I'd love to beaable to only use one mail app for my personal and work, instead of 2 separate ones.

Hands down, the best email client, especially for business, and Outlook Server users. Kicks Microsoft's own app in the azz. If you were a Touchdown user, and your pulling your hair out because Touchdown is end of life, this is your answer. Even does Outlook Tasks, which is something that Microsoft's own mobile Outlook client can't do. Do yourself a favor, throw your current email client away, and get this app!
