Installation
When unpacking the archive with the file, you will be prompted to enter a password
- Download the XAPK installation application, e.g, APKPure or File Manager .
- Open the downloaded XAPK installation application and locate the downloaded XAPK file.
- Follow the instructions in the application to install the XAPK file.
- Allow installation from unknown sources: Go to 'Settings' > 'Security' (or 'Biosecurity & Safety') > enable 'Unknown sources' or 'Install from unknown sources' for your browser or file manager. On newer smartphone models, permission is requested when the individual file is installed and no unnecessary steps need to be performed..

amazing app
I love this app and the amount of customization it allows throughout the entire interface. I don't know why so many rate the app so low in stars, but I guess they have issues with chatting?? I think that is a new user bug. I've had this app for about seven years and have had 0 issues with messaging friends or joining group chats. The only issue I really have with the app is the quality of the calls. IT IS SO QUIET. Other than that, this app is excellent.

I'm returning after rage-quitting in 2013. Back then, I had quit using it for a year due to a breakup. I returned, only to find out they deleted my account! I paid for seasonal stickers! I don't see a big change since then. Just User ID, which is in 100% Korean on an English app version. Thankfully Google Translate lets you import screenshots to translate. Otherwise, it's a standard text app w/ custom skins. Sadly can't use my Protonmail. Edit: what happened to Christmas Day snow in chat?
This app is lot more better than other than chatting apps. You don't need to share number to add a person, you can add them by their I'd. All in all an app that needs to be recognized all over the world.
You already know the pros. Here are the cons: unable to backup and restore (medias) to a new/another smartphone. Unable to install on SD card. Automatically adding friends without consent. Older android devices are not supported. Outdated UI and interface. This app is from the past, still stuck in the past, and will slowly disappear with the past.
The ad section they've recently added is quite annoying. I keep making mistake clicking that ad because it is located where I used to click. I think I will get bad impression of any brand they put their ad there.
Pros: Helpful with international communication. Cons: Not a user friendly app. It takes multiple tries to find anything within menus or do something as simple as adding friends. Barely existing support that is unhelpful 9 times out of 10. Won't let you change your ID after making it. Allows blocked people to still view your photos/updates to profile. I recommended it to friends and was embarrassed since they hated it due to awful user experience.
Why i can't add my friend in Korea, they said you have restriction? Does it have any possible way?
How long does the verification process take? I've been waiting to log in but it keeps saying to start over.. And I've been using my airtime to send the code sms thing...
I've been using this app for a long time but recently after the last update, I havent been consistenly receiving notifications for my messages and it's really frustrating. I have to open the chatroom in order to see if I got a message for not. sometimes I get notifications, sometimes I don't.
