I dont use this as extensively as other outdoor enthusiasts. But I really like the different map layers available and how well this works offline in Airplane mode. Puts me exactly where I need to be on the map.

As a nature lover and mountaineer, I needed some good and reliable app, that could help me explore nature and also orient when needed. Gaia GPS is definitely the best app I've ever used, great job, keep the good work! :)

I like the ease of plotting an off highway route. Voice directions are lame...when I went off route, the app did not attempt to redirect me back to my chosen route. Downloading maps is easy. Premier maps and overlay are astounding...so many useable maps.

Why are tiles from the same source displayed in worse image quality in GaiaGPS (both in the app and web browser) when compared to other mapping tools? The same tile URLs are displayed in perfect quality in Arcgis, Google Maps Javascript API, etc. GaiaGPS isn't hosting the tiles, so why cripple the quality?

This app is now wildly unreliable. I have used the app for years and haven't had this clunky of an experience until now. It now will not allow me to use a straight line distance option between two points when offline. I, and I assume most others, use the app while in the backcountry, so. The app just crashes. The last time this happened, the app advised me to delete my cache. In doing so, I deleted the maps I had for the area I was in. This happens without warning. A refund would be great, Gaia!
