Reviews for Forest: Focus for Productivity
I absolutely love the cute theme! The app is really good for focus, and my little siblings love reading the quotations you put on there! Its quite addicting in my opinion. Growing a litttle forest with this app by putting your phone down is awesome! I think something that might be good/cool is something for overnight. You could grow multiple trees/bushes/etc. Or 1 big tree/bush/etc. It would help for if you woke up in the middle of the night, and figured you might want to use your phone.
This is a pretty neat app, and overall, it's great, especially if you don't want to touch your phone at all. Making focusing a game is a neat idea and it has little encouraging messages too. I tried out the feature to watch an ad and double my coins, but it didn't work. Not a big deal, but I just watched an ad for nothing when they also pop up ads periodically. The only thing I really want is the ability to have "allowed apps" or to block specifics apps. Like I have a dictionary app on my phone that I like to use while working, but I can't while this app is running. (You have to buy premium for this, but it's honestly something that should be a basic function.)
Very good app for focus, has helped me on more than one occasion. I will say though, the audio it plays, if you choose to play it, sometimes glitches out on my Galaxy S9. It will sometimes just shut off and refuse to play even when my volume is on and the sound option is on. Otherwise though, its a very good focus app, great for people like me who get easily distracted by their phones.
Hey. Just got the premium version of this app because I really liked the concept. It seems to still be in its earlyish stages at the moment so I was just going to do a running review: Very unique concept, very cute and simple graphics. It makes me super motivated to get focused, which is exactly what I need at the moment ____ The app isn't super user friendly right now, but I have an extensive background in tech, so I'm able to use the app pretty efficiently. Only have noticed a very very few bugs right now. But again, these are my initial thoughts after a couple minutes of use. It's not impossible to use. Probably just requires a basic understanding of how to operate apps. I think there's a tutorial in the settings
This used to be my favourite app for work, but the excellent main feature, as enhanced by the clean UX and cute art, are completely ruined by the integration of ads in my face after every tree is done growing. I refuse to pay for the way the app used to be. Mourning the extremely useful and beautiful app I first downloaded years ago, and off to seek a replacement.
