The modules and learning this app offers are very rich and helpful, especially when it comes to learning brand new concepts. Their database of subjects to learn about was a lot broader than I originally thought it was going to be, including topics such as MongoDB and Linux, both a couple of topics I have wanted to get into but could not find good resources for; Enki solved that problem in a way that's easy to use and satisfying to use, as well. I keep looking for to the modules they continue to add as they update this app. Keep up the good work, Enki! :)

I've tried other apps in the past to learn python and this one definitely understands my way of thinking. (There's little footnotes in places that would otherwise send me down rabbit holes trying to understand) Layout helps keep me focused and the wording makes it easy to create flashcards from which to study from. I haven't tried to pro option but if it keeps being this great I hope to be able to buy it and continue.

App is superb and very easy to learn from due to great resource. Very happy to learn from a very innovative app such as Enki. It would be better though if the developers would explain more of what's in the programming games. I find the a little difficult do to the confusion and misunderstanding of a lot of the terms and loops used in the games.

I'd say this app is worth a 5 star but the "read-only" mode isn't going to actually help us learn the coding languages it offers. It can be used along side learning the language on a different app that can let type the code. Seeing what's included in the "Learn-mode" (Paid) We can answer questions based on what's being taught and actually make a program yourself on the app. It would be extremely beneficial if at least the quizzes were available in the "Read-only" mode. It is a good app still 🙂

would be 5 stars, i love the app, its a nice, easy way to learn something new in a.few minutes, but for the past two weeks, i can only do one workout a day, and then the app is inaccessible, all the tabs are blankk screens. force closing the app doesnt fix it, and neither does uninstalling and reinstalling. please fix ASAP.

The original Enki was way better. I don't know who thought the new UI was a good idea but, I think it's best you get them out of that area. It was just much more smooth and nicer to look at than this UI that was PURPOSEFULLY designed to lag behind, it drive me nuts. I'll keep it downloaded for a while and hope to see a update, wont be using it until then. Scratch that turns out you need to pay a bunch of money after a while.

so I loved the original Enki, but the 2.0 update is a flaming pile of awful design choices. The color coordination and separation of the original was superb, but now it's all emojii and iOS Messenger bubbles. This visual flash is cluttered and busy and doesn't improve my workflow in the least. and emojii should just be shot and killed on sight, it's useful as an expressive communication tool, but not in an educational setting.

Aesthetically pleasing. Overall, each explanation for each lesson is confusing or flat wrong. Additionally, many of the mistakes are beginner ones, such as calling values from an index incorrectly. Multiple comments from the community point out the errors, but they were from 6 months ago or more. The developers obviously don't care enough to listen and improve the experience. The games are very linear and don't contribute to an overall understanding of the language. I'm not sure how this app got a 4.6 average. Maybe good for beginner programmers, but if you have a shred of experience, don't bother.

spelling mistakes and missing content. the workouts show you how to do something but seemingly never tell you why that is useful to do. and for advanced programming and database management that is what really matters. the app also seems to rely on others to provide that content. its questionable if the links at end of each section are truely authorized to be there because, if not this is borderline plagerism.

great idea, terrible execution. I've tried using this app several times, even back when it made commits on GitHub, and it has never improved. the majority of "lessons" have errors, and many are entirely wrong. the app itself is slow and clunky, and now they want to charge money for mentoring. not worth a download.
