The application contains the canonical texts of the Old and New Testaments in a modern translation. All texts are divided into chapters, it is possible to make bookmarks in any part of the text, which are saved in the corresponding section. Texts are easy to read, convenient reading control is implemented: flipping and scrolling with gestures.

Functional

You can understand the controls in the program at a glance: the main window contains links to the Old and New Testaments, buttons for settings, search and bookmarks. In the section of each Testament there is a button to return to the main window, an exit button and a table of contents:

• Being;
• Exodus;
• Leviticus;
• Numbers, etc.;

Each section has the same list of chapters. To go to a chapter, you need to click on its title. In the texts, the menu bar with the buttons for settings, search, bookmarks and exit is hidden and only the word “menu” remains visible, when pressed, this panel leaves.

Search

In the search section, the user can select one of the Testaments in which to search for the specified word. The minimum request length is 3 characters. If the user selects one of the Testaments, the program searches it, but in the background searches for the word in the second Testament as well. Search progress is shown by a growing yellow bar called Testament. Search results are not shuffled.

The search results display the number of words found on all pages and examples of strings containing those words. When you click on a line, a menu opens with the following items:

• Open - jump to the specified part of the text, it is not possible to go back to the search results;
• Add to bookmarks;
• Copy to clipboard;
• Cancel.

Bookmarks

To add text to bookmarks, you need to hold your finger on the screen, after which a menu will appear in which you can copy the line that the user clicked on to the clipboard or add it to bookmarks, giving it a name. In the section with bookmarks, you can delete them one by one or all at once.

Text management is performed by gestures: turning pages with a swipe left and right, scrolling text by moving it up and down with your finger.
