AndroVid is an application with a set of tools for editing various objects. It's pretty easy to use and does several things well.

After opening a video in AndroVid, you can see a sliding list of options at the top of the screen. (You might not realize that the list slides at first - it's not exactly an award-winning user experience, but swiping left reveals more options than expected.)

Application Features

The options are pretty self-explanatory and work more or less as expected:

• The Trim command allows you to select a small segment of the video and get rid of the excess.
• The Split command allows you to select a point in the video where it will be split into two separate parts.
• The Capture command lets you select one frame of video to capture as a still image.

AndroVid also provides the ability to convert video to MP3 as well as add one music track per clip. The latter, however, is not very useful as there is no way to control where the music starts and stops in a clip, or how long it plays.

If you need to add text to a video, AndroVid has a tool for that. Once you have selected a tool, all the user has to do is enter text and then use their finger to determine where it appears on the screen. The user can customize the size and color of the text, but there is no way to create or import full-screen graphics, and there are no animations or transitions.

AndroVid has a decent set of one-touch filtering effects for videos. Some of them are limited to only the "Pro" version of the program for a small price, but the vast majority work within the free version.

Finally, AndroVid has options to rotate videos and convert them to a different size, format or quality.
