fantastic library for all of your guitar learning needs. I've been using UG since I picked up my first guitar over a decade ago when it was still exclusively web based and have been a pro member for years. it's worth it's weight in gold with the amount of tabs and chords in the library. They've even added drum, uke, and bass tabs since I started using it, plus power tabs. Amazing database. If you're not using it as a musician, then you've been missing out.

Suddenly the "Shots" video/audio has started playing on unrelated app events. And there is no obvious way to stop it without closing the app. One example: viewing a tab, switching focus to another app, then back to Tabs, audio starts playing. Please advise. This small bug makes an otherwise good app unusable in some live settings. Thanks. A global 'disable shots' or at least a 'disable shots autoplay' feature seems necessary.

Glitchy. The main issue was that I would select a song and it would never load. The screen would freeze and I couldn't even go back to choose something else. I had to close the entire app and try again, and then it would still freeze. Someone recommended this app to me, and after reading through a lot of the recent reviews I was hesitant, but still wanted to give it a try. I couldn't even fully explore due to the constant inability to load.

The service itself is good, I have no problems with the website, but the app is littered with bugs that make the app quite cumbersome to use. Bugs such as the back button not working on tabs, the delete button not working on the favorites menu, randomly getting a blank screen, and general clunkiness make the app a chore to use. I've had the app across multiple devices and the problems are consistent. If the general bugginess was resolved, I'd use the app much more.

I have a paid subscription. Up through May of this year, it was fantastic for learning (or confirming) whatever instrument I chose. Now it is only showing the rhythm guitar for each song no matter what instrument I choose, and it no longer lets me transpose. So, now it's only good for chords.

Every time I close the app Music starts playing. Obviously someone is singing and playing guitar and it's recording them and playing it on my phone. This is aggravating! I do not wish to hear this as I use the app solely for playing music. Lyrics and chords. I used to not have any problems or complaints with this app. But now something fishy is going on. I'm considering ending my subscription

Very upsetting that you have to pay for everything now, apart from viewing the tab. Want it transposed? Want it to autoscroll? You're going to have to pay. I used this app/website when i first bought my guitar 10 years ago and it was amazing, free, and accessible. It's disappointing they're now turning into a profit scheme. I'm deleting the app.

Let me start off by saying I'm not an amateur guitarist or amateur phone user. I've played on & off for over a decade. My chief complaint about this app is that it is completely unreliable to use. I paid for an annual subscription so that I can upload video shots to the platform. Every time I attempt to upload a video the app tells me an internal error occurred and they couldn't upload it. Despite contacting customer service numerous times, they refuse to fix the problem. Awful customer service!

Slow. Slow! Slow App! They've known about this problem for quite a long time and have admitted as much, as well as state that it'll be a while before it's fixed. It's fundamentally a programming problem. They've created a simple app that goes rogue and haywire by draining your device of RAM. An app this simple should not be using 3-4 GB of RAM when some of the most intensive apps don't use close to half that much. (And this is only because you decided to try and open the app!)

Used to be the best way to get tabs. I even payed for a pro membership way back in 2010 or 11, and for years they honored that membership. Now it is suddenly gone, the app is full of ads, and the front page is a knock off tik tok. This app is NOT worth your time, and definitely isn't worth the subscription they're trying to shill. find something else.
