So far it has done a great job. It has made a few mistakes, but mostly where it is somewhat understandable ( I ask for a straw, to drink and had me asking for straw, that goats eat. It would be nice if they could make it translate and send to the others phone. Its fast!

Thank you Amazon for this amazing piece of technology. We are hosting Ukrainian refugees and it has made the experience wonderful (given the awful circumstances). We can share jokes, humour and of course deep concerns. It also helps the learning of a language as it retains a history of your conversation that can be played back. It is so easy to use.

FINALLY a voice translation app that you can actually speak to. All of the apps that use the google voice system shut off after the briefest of pauses. It's essentially worthless for two slow speakers. Slow speakers make up the bulk of a translation apps user base. Thanks Amazon!

I have used many of the translation apps. Virtually everything uses Google for the translation. So if you want accuracy, you won't get it with these other apps. SayHi uses amazon technology and I have found it to be the most useful and advanced. I give this app 5. It allows me to translate both by speech and keyboard and then save my input for sharing or future reference. It just doesn't get any better than this if you are wanting to learn another language.

Guys, listen up. This app is beyond awesome! It's absolutely word perfect. I've used Google translate for years and it is nowhere near the accuracy of this app. I don't speak much Spanish and this app is a complete game changer. 10 stars recommended.

Absolutely fantastic! Fantastisch! We have been communicating wonderfully with people who speak no English whatsoever. Kommunikation mit Menschen die unsere Sprach überhaupt nicht sprechen verläuft wunderbar. Only confusing problem for older people is when you press the microphone button too hard, then the conversation goes away. Einziges problem für unerfahrene menschen ist wenn das Mikrofon Symbol zu fest gedrückt wird. Dann verschwindet der Verlauf. But aside from that the app is excellent.

Excellent instant translation! Only reason not to give 5 stars is because sometimes difficult to activate quickly enough - would be good to be able to lock in a simple screen for the translation used most frequently by user.

Brilliant to have conversations where language is a barrier. Great that it ignores tv sounds or radio playing. On the downside it has recently slowed right down sometime not translating. Also a few inaccurate words but that prompts laughter so we do it again and often it works.
