There's a new TV Remote app for Philips tv called "Phillips TV remote", without "app" at the end. This one is old and it's not working anymore.

You mean "New bugs added" in latest update! It strongly needs a serious update to fix UI, several bugs and functions. Come on TP-vision, is it really THIS the app you keep proudly advertising for your new 2020 TV line ups? Is there a reason you are not investing in this app, though still advertising it as a cool feature??

No longer finds TV. Tried inputting IP address with no luck. TV and phone on same network. TV connects to Netflix so not a network problem.

Worked for a week(no problems) , then it stopped. Can't even connect to TV with my huawei p 30

Stopped working after a TV fw upgrade.

Used to work, but no longer finds tv and doesn't offer any support to help resolve my issue, no error code or anything useful. Link to forum is dead, website offers no help. Social media contact is ignored. Updated at Jan 2021 same as above. Tp link have made a different app that works.
