I have an android tv named nikai with android version 4.4.4.I am not able to cast my mobile youtube to my android tv. i have searched alot on this matter. coming to the conclusion i found we need google built in chromecast for it. Unfortunately the version of my tv do not support the chromecast app. There is no available version of chromecast on play store. i tried some version of chromecast from other sources, but they didnt work too. hence what i would like to request is to suggest/provide any other alternative for the problem. thank you

Working well enough in my Humax Aura UHD PVR. The only thing I wish it had alongside the other Chromecasts in my house was the ability to set the Ambient mode to stream photos from my albums. Such as shame that this is missing as I love looking at photos of my kids growing up etc when they spontaneously appear on the Chromecast ambient feed for my stand alone Chromecasts.

This is the worst Google product I have used. I bought my TV just for this feature, and it's entirely unusable. Videos play in slow motion, and end up going out of sync with audio. From reading through the reviews, it seems it is a common problem, not just something wrong with my TV. I tried opening the link that the support team had provided to others encountering the same problem. The page lists phone numbers to call. For the United States, the number is supposedly available "Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week". The response I received was "We are closed right now, please call during our normal business hours". I got in touch with the customer support team and carried out the many debugging steps that they suggested, with no luck. I am now hoping for some help from the manufacturer, even though it is not a problem specific to my manufacturer, based on other reviews to this app.

Complete trash... Pretty annoying that I bought this TV in part because of the built in Chromecast, but it works horribly. I have gigabit internet, get 450 mbps on Wifi, my router is 4 FT away from the TV and the video plays in slow motion... I have no problem streaming 4K from other apps or through my Xbox.

Since the last update (Nov. 2018) casting from apps like Hulu Live TV and YouTube TV on my Sony Bravia XBR-55X850D results in constant stutter making content unwatchable. Uninstalling the update and using original factory version fixed the problem. Please address in next update. Minimal viability seems pretty important for an app already lacking in most basic chromecast capabilities.
