Installation
When unpacking the archive with the file, you will be prompted to enter a password
- Download the XAPK installation application, e.g, APKPure or File Manager .
- Open the downloaded XAPK installation application and locate the downloaded XAPK file.
- Follow the instructions in the application to install the XAPK file.
- Allow installation from unknown sources: Go to 'Settings' > 'Security' (or 'Biosecurity & Safety') > enable 'Unknown sources' or 'Install from unknown sources' for your browser or file manager. On newer smartphone models, permission is requested when the individual file is installed and no unnecessary steps need to be performed..
- Install the APK file by following the on-screen instructions.
- Restore security settings by disabling permission to install from unknown sources.

Doorbell presses are no longer being recorded, only motion. I looked everywhere in the settings and I can't find that option. Blink's website has outdated information guiding me to the old UI of the app.

Absolute garage app and device. Constantly fails to connect to perfectly good WiFi.
I'm very disappointed my old cameras had been great, so I invested in a doorbell to find you now have to pay for a subscription, making the doorbell useless. Will be replacing the lot soon with a proper wired system. No way am I paying for a ripoff subscription.
1. Incredibly slow to connect to the camera. 2. One of my cameras disconnected 10 months ago and it never reconnected no matter what I did. 3. App is very buggy. Doesn't show latest recording. Timestamps get jumbled. 4. This app used to have a 3.2 star rating, but it looks like they got that "fixed".
Cameras dont work. Updated the app and none of them respond anymore, no matter how many times i reset them or change the batteries. What a waste of money!
There's always an issue, something not working properly. I actively do not recommend blink to any of my friends who ask about it. I show them the app and point out the deficiencies.
