Tetris is an addictive puzzle game that started puzzle games in the computer world. Tetris is appealing because it captures our universal desire to create order out of chaos. The Tetris game was created by Alexey Pajitnov in 1984. A product of Alexey's experience in computer programming and his love of puzzles. In the following decades, Tetris has become one of the most successful and recognizable video games, appearing on almost every gaming platform available.

The goal of Tetris is to score as many points as possible by clearing the horizontal lines of the blocks. The player must rotate, move and drop the falling tetrimino inside the playing field. Rows are cleared when they are filled with blocks and have no empty spaces.

As the lines clear, the level increases and the tetriminos fall faster, making the game more and more difficult. If the blocks land above the top of the playing field, the game is over.
