EduApp

EduApp is an Android application developed for students at the Swiss Higher Technical School of Zurich (ETHZ). To use the application, you must have access that only students and teachers of the school have. The application helps students build their learning process and participate in the life of the school.

Program functions

The application has two interface languages ​​- English and German. It contains all the timetables of courses, semesters, answers to training questions, feedback, map and scheme of the university, school bus timetable and other supporting functions.

The main menu is located on the left, the contents of the sections of the left menu are displayed on the right side of the window. In the upper right corner there is a button for updating content. The main menu contains the following sections:

Course Activities - all information about the learning process.

• Dashboard - dashboard. It contains information about courses, upcoming lectures and other training events.
• Schedule - class schedule.
• Forum is a place for communication between students and teachers.
• Course Clicker - Information about individual courses.

Semester Feedback - here students can find out the information they are interested in about the academic semester.

• Feedback Channel - a channel for feedback.
• Feedback Questions - Questions.

• Workplaces for Students - information about student places.
• Campus Map - layout and location of classrooms in the campus.

In the Dashboard section, at the top, there is a section with upcoming lectures in the form of a row of colored blocks. Each block contains the title of the lecture, the date and time of the lecture. Below is the activity feed of events: these can be lectures, answers to questions�Oses, feedback or practical exercises. Each line with an event contains the date and time of the event and an icon indicating that the news can be commented on.

In the section with the schedule, a calendar with dates and times. Colored blocks represent lectures and other events. The calendar can be displayed in other views: weekly and monthly.

In the Campus Map section there is a map of the area and the university with all the offices of the departments, indicated by numbers. The user can display their location or use the fast switching of university areas.

In the section with the timetable of the university bus there are routes of several buses that take students to different places of the university. Here are the names of the routes and bus numbers. The schedule can be downloaded in PDF format.

The application can be downloaded by anyone, but only students of the ETH University can use it, because they need access to use it. The program is made specifically for this university and its schedule, so it is ideal for students of this institution.
